  Kasie Smith Biography
The name, Kasie Smith, resonates with a confidence and focus that is rarely matched. Beyond the name and smile, is a voice that will resound from coast to coast.

That Kasie Smith is a breathtakingly beautiful woman is undeniable. That she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside is downright rare. She is charming, intelligent, and loves people. Her warmth and charm naturally attracts an audience. She has a personal presence that draws anyone in the room or stadium into her open smile and fearlessly fun personality. Kasie breathes life into everything she sings. She has a distinctive vocal style & wide range. She puts joy and passion into her songs that go against the “safe” rules she so loves to break.

As one might expect, a voice as exceptional as Kasie’s comes from the roots of a musical family. Her father, in fact, toured in a band throughout Colorado and Nebraska. Born and raised in Holyoke, Colorado, Kasie began her musical career by dazzling audiences at age three, singing in her family church while her father played the guitar. In sixth grade she began to write songs. As Kasie grew, so did her love for music. She sang in choirs, plays, musicals, and entered every event or contest she could find. She went on to major in voice at York College in Nebraska. She sang in several college choirs. Now she is becoming a much in demand studio singer, growing stronger and more experimental with every studio experience. Kasie is very hands on in the studio. She has already earned a mutual respect from the studio musicians, producers, and engineers with whom she’s worked with. Kasie’s hard work and creative input earned her credit as co-producer on her latest album.

Kasie's album, ‘Girl In A Hurry’ is like no other. Kasie’s music is a unique style all her own. It’s up beat and fun, a style she likes to call county/rock. The album was recorded in Nashville at Wildwood Studio and The Sound Shop. The album was produced by Mike Chapman and Judy Rodman. It was engineered by Bob Bullock. It features one of the best bands Nashville has to offer. The band’s talents include Mike Chapman on bass, Kerry Marx-electric guitar, Jeff King-electric guitar, Larry Beaird-acoustic guitar/banjo, John Willis-acoustic guitar, Gordon Mote-piano/keyboards, Catherine Styron Marx-piano/keyboards, Steve Turner-drums, Larry Franklin-fiddle/mandolin and Terry McMillan-harmonica.
